Evento proporcionou uma oportunidade única de aprender mais sobre a reconstrução de imagens obtidas por ressonância magnética.

O Workshop MRI, com o professor da Universidade de Calgary Richard Frayne, contou com a participação de alunos da Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica e de Computação, da Física Médica e do Instituto de Computação da UNICAMP. O evento ocorreu logo após o Congresso BRAINN.

Durante o workshop, os alunos puderam discutir os desafios encontrados em técnicas de imageamento como a ressonância magnética e abordar temas importantes na área, como o Compressed Sensing.

O curso será oferecido nos dias 14, 18, 19 e 20 de abril, logo após o Congresso BRAINN . O curso é destinado a alunos de pós-graduação das área de Engenharia, Computação e Física Médica.

O curso será uma excelente oportunidade de integração para alunos participantes do BRAINN, além de um espaço de aprendizado e debate em torno de questões importantes envolvendo a aquisição e análise de MRI.

Announcement

Applications are now open for the course “MRI Reconstruction – Hands-on course”, to be taught by Prof. Dr. Richard Frayne, from the University of Calgary, between April 14th and April 20th 2016, right after the BRAINN Congress.

The course will be offered at the University of Campinas and aims to allow graduate students and researchers working directly with MRI to deepen their knowledge on reconstruction of these images through a practical and dynamic approach. Since it is a “hands-on” course, participants will have the chance to experience the challenges and difficulties of working with MRI and interact with many researchers in correlated areas.

Target audience:

This course is designed for Engineering, Physics, Medical Physics and Computer Science students and researchers who work with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Basics of signal processing is desireable. The candidate selection will be based on the engagement to the BRAINN project and the supervisor recommendation. Places are limited to 18.
