DESCRIPTION:GET READY FOR LATIN AMERICA’S MOST EXCITING PRECISION MEDICINE EVENT\nThe past few years have proven to be an exciting time in medicine with the introduction of transformative technologiesthat enable population scale genomics programs to become reality and the introduction of a ground-breaking new class of medicines that use gene therapy\, cell therapy or tissue engineering (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products – ATMPs) to treat disease and injury. \nWith Genomas Brasil being announced by Brazilian Ministry of Health in 2020\, we believe this is great timing to have a summit in the region. Most initiates are looking at the other global initiatives as examples\, however\, also feel strongly that our regional opportunities are very unique. This summit will bring together thought leading policy makers\, economists\,scientists\, clinicians and industry representatives from the population genomics and ATMPs inniatives within the region.
